The mysteries of a magic trout

If I could wish, upon a fish
I would make a special dish
with swirls of rainbow and a star
to gaze upon me from afar
this offering I would wrap up
and place in a silver plastic cup
send it on its merry way,
upon the sea for a year and a day
until it came to the ends of the earth
and began again its endless birth
for upon this wish rode a desire
a desire to spiral higher and higher
until; at the zenith of its power
the hope came down by the hour
to slop back down into the ocean
with the slightest ripple of a delicate motion

About Me

My photo
I look up at the stars; name them one by one,
If I could hold them in my palm it'd be such fun.
